A written report, with every number checked

An AI model writes the words of the match report and answers your questions about the match. Before you see either, every number in it is checked against the match data, and a sentence whose number is not there is removed.

The report

Written for the staff room

The report arrives with the analysis: the key takeaways, the team comparison, heat maps, the pass network and a section for each named player.

  • Official numbers from the fixture and tracked numbers from the video, kept apart and labelled
  • Every touch of each named player listed, with a reel to play
  • Prints to PDF

Download a sample report (PDF, from a research clip with sample names).

01The check

The AI writes words. The numbers are checked.

An AI model (Anthropic's Claude) writes the sentences, citing the facts it used. Then code checks every number in every sentence against those facts.

  1. Facts first

The match data is turned into a list of facts, each with its source: the fixture, or the tracking.

  2. Words second

The model writes the report from those facts and says which ones each sentence uses.

  3. Every number checked

A sentence stating a number its facts do not contain is removed before you see it.

02Ask the match

Questions in plain words, answers with clips

"Who sprinted most after half-time?" "Play me every sprint by our number 8." The answer is held to the same number rule, and it can come with the clips it is talking about.

The clips play one after another on the report page. One click turns them into a reel in the Studio, added to what you already have rather than replacing it.

The description of each clip list is written by code from what was found, not by the model, so it says exactly what is in it.

03Limits

What it does not do

  • No xG or pass accuracy

The report only uses what the video and the fixture can support; see the accuracy section on the home page.

  • No possession from the video

Our tracked possession measured 56% accurate on a labelled sample, no better than a guess, so the report never quotes a possession figure from the video.

  • Never trained on your footage

The model reads the facts to write the report. Your matches are not used to train it.
